About me
Byron De Leon is a Guatemalan-American conductor, baritone, and educator from New York City. He sings at Marble Collegiate Church and will join the Delaware Choral Scholars in Spain for the 2025 Tolosa Choral Competition. A Young People’s Chorus of New York City alum, he now serves as Assistant Conductor, Voice Teacher, and Creative Musicianship Teacher with YPC @ Thurnauer School of Music. De Leon earned his MM in Choral Conducting from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and BM in Voice Performance from Ithaca College.
